Dock Worker 1 - Full Time
About The Position
Are you an active individual? Do you enjoy working in a fast paced environment? As a Material Handler at our Logistics Facility, you will: Provide world class customer service to all internal and external customers Transport materials and donated merchandise through day to day operations at Logistics Center Operate assigned equipment in a safe manner, including forklift Assisting in guiding the movement of vehicles in a safe manner; loading and unloading of vehicles; and maintaining the vehicles in a clean, neat, and safe manner, in accordance with organizational policies and procedure Assists White Glove Service in picking up donated goods from customer’s home and/or businesses etc, along with unloading at GIM locations. Ensures all donated merchandise is properly secured and well cared for to prevent damage while in transport.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work independently
- Prior warehouse or dock worker experience required
- Certified Forklift Operator required
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
Nice To Haves
- Safety certifications preferred
- Driver spotter experience preferred
