The Robert Bosch Tool Company is seeking a warehouse operator who must be able to operate a forklift. The role involves maintaining all aspects of inventory control in the warehouse and all assigned work areas, which includes picking, packing, and labeling. The operator will physically move materials from one location to another as demand dictates, following appropriate documentation. Safety is a priority, and the operator will be responsible for safely operating a forklift and/or hand truck when necessary, as well as performing daily preventive maintenance and safety checks as required. The position also requires counting parts by hand to ensure inventory accuracy and utilizing RF scan guns and/or hand-held radio frequency devices to access information. Communication with supervisors and team leaders is essential to obtain proper information and direction on material movement throughout the plant. The operator may also need to replace or assist other dock operator personnel as directed and perform all related replenishment and picking functions as required. Observing all safety regulations and reporting any unsafe working conditions or activities to the supervisor is crucial to ensure that the work area remains clean and safe at all times.
