About The Position

This position will perform work on the dock including picking orders, loading and unloading of product from vehicles. Responsible for physical moving of freight into and out of trailers in a timely manner, by handling the freight manually, or using a forklift or hand truck. Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight. Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand. Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies. Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies. Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Must be able to lift freight and other objects up to 50 lbs frequently and greater than 70 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
