About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Dillards La Cantera in San Antonio, TX. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently, ensuring that all areas are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for occupants and visitors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial, commercial cleaning, or industrial cleaning is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights as needed.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment for all occupants.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain floors through regular cleaning methods such as buffing and waxing.
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the environment remains in good condition.
• Assist with painting or touch-ups as required to maintain aesthetic appeal.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly for efficient use.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
