As a Dock & Door Install Technician, you’ll play a critical role installing dock and door systems that support warehouses, distribution centers, and facilities across our region. THE ROLE Reporting to the Dock & Door Operations Manager, the Dock & Door Install Technician is responsible for the installation of commercial and industrial dock and door equipment, including: Rolling steel and sectional doors Dock levelers and truck restraints Safety gates and truck shelters HVLS fans You’ll work independently and as part of a team to complete installations safely, efficiently, and to Raymond Storage Concepts standards — ensuring every job is done right the first time.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of dock & door, installation, or related mechanical experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Residence within the designated service area

Nice To Haves

  • Welding and cutting torch experience preferred
  • Experience operating lift trucks and scissor lifts preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and/or hydraulics preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install dock and door equipment efficiently and accurately while following all safety regulations and company procedures
  • Complete and maintain all required safety training and equipment certifications
  • Meet performance goals related to labor efficiency, work completion, and quality
  • Maintain a clean, organized service truck, tools, uniforms, and inventory
  • Accurately document all work performed and submit paperwork in a timely manner
  • Partner with Parts, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure customer needs are met
  • Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams, representing RSC with integrity
  • Promote service maintenance programs and support the RSC brand through excellent customer interactions
  • Remain flexible with scheduling to support customer needs
  • Drive safely throughout the service territory and maintain a clean driving record
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, accountability, and a positive, professional attitude
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
