About The Position

A Dock Clerk is responsible for routine clerical and data entry functions that support the production teams. This position will report to the Materials Manager and is in Waterloo, Iowa.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and or ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
2+ years of experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work under deadlines in a team environment
Ability to handle driver-facing interactions as a TVS SCS representative
OSHA-endorsed forklift certification or ability to become certified

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with freight carriers, BOLs, and shipping procedures preferred
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment involving tire and wheel operations is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Distribute, assign, and complete warehouse management system tasks
Monitor required process completion standards to ensure on-time delivery schedules
Ensure all deliveries are dispatched promptly, accurately, and with all necessary documentation
Accurately process paperwork, gather and verify data, and transfer data into a standard format
Generate correspondence, respond to routine inquiries, and perform a variety of clerical duties
Communicate issues to appropriate TVS SCS personnel
Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment (forklift) as needed
Perform housekeeping tasks, including sweeping and removing scrap, pallets, cardboard, etc.
Regular and reliable attendance at work
Participate in all TVS SCS quality and excellence initiatives
