Requirements

  • Basic understanding of test equipment and maintenance requirements (TMDE).
  • Familiarity with reutilization of equipment and basic knowledge of disposition requirements.
  • Ability to work under general supervision.
  • Ability to lift/move 40 lbs.
  • HS Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Data analysis skills including familiarity with MS Excel formulas, charts and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with Sunflower asset tracking system.
  • Ability to gain ESD certification and knowledge of test equipment utilization.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures property is managed in accordance with applicable government regulations, corporate policy, and local procedures to achieve operational excellence.
  • Manage the asset management records database, including accurate input of new records and updates to existing records.
  • Provides barcode tags and perform equipment tagging.
  • Reviews, researches, analyzes and resolves issues raised by property receiving discrepancies and supporting audits where needed by team.
  • Reviews new part procurement listings for determination of quality clause requirements and manages those entries for calibration and tagging at the receipt point.
  • Entry-level professional with broad theoretical job knowledge.
  • Communicates with contacts in own team to explain and interpret information.
  • Contributes to systems and processes changes in work routines.
  • Supports lean six sigma process improvement projects and 5S+1 clean-up events.
  • Coordinates disposal activities of excess equipment for Facilities and Finance for capital and expensed equipment.
