About The Position
The DMV Services Technician 3 position in Yerington is a vital role within the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles, specifically in the Field Services Division. This position is responsible for providing essential customer services related to various licensing programs, including driver's licenses, vehicle registrations, and business occupational licenses. The incumbent will engage with the public to assist in licensing drivers, issuing identification cards, registering and titling vehicles, and processing reinstatements. This role is dedicated to ensuring that DMV programs and voter registration services are delivered effectively to the community. As part of the DMV team, the technician will work independently with minimal supervision, acquiring the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform their duties proficiently. The position requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures clearly to the public. The DMV Services Technician 3 will also be involved in processing various types of documents, including titling, special plates, insurance verification, and driver's license renewals.
