About The Position

DMV Services Technicians provide customer services associated with driver's license, vehicle, and business occupational licensing programs including licensing drivers; issuing identification cards; registering and titling vehicles; issuing occupational business licenses; and processing reinstatements. OR Incumbents perform basic tasks or elements of the job not requiring the additional knowledge, skills and abilities to perform at the next level in the series. This is for multiple DMV Services Technician 2 positions with the Dept. of Motor Vehicles, Customer Services Division located in our Carson City office. In the Contact Center we take phone calls, chat with customers via our chat option and answer emails for the entire State of Nevada. The Contact Center Team trouble shoots MyDMV account issues, the Drive NV portal and the DMV website and assists with Rapid Registration, Turbo Titles and Quick Cards. We also reset EDRS, MyDMV portal accounts and send Customer Issues to the front offices as needed. Under the authority of NRS 239B.010.1(b), the DMV utilizes NRS 205.4605 - 205.810, NRS 293.504, NRS 293.5045, 6 CFR 37.45, 49 CFR 1572.103, and 49 CFR 384.228 as criteria to obtain a FBI fingerprint clearance check on current and prospective employees.
