We are seeking an Automotive DMV Specialist with excellent auto dealership accounting skills, great customer service, and a winning attitude. This individual will be responsible for processing vehicle sales transactions for submission to the DMV, handling accounting for our VW and Mazda stores, and managing various other responsibilities within our accounting department. The role also involves being a resource for our sales and finance departments, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers and internal stakeholders. In this position, you will process new and used car DMV applications, follow up on the status of vehicle titles, and reconcile the monies collected for DMV transactions against the amounts paid. You will also engage in various other automotive accounting tasks, including posting sales contracts, processing EFT payments, and reconciling various schedules. Additionally, you will manage the accounting of new and used car inventories, providing essential support to the finance and sales departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
