Requirements

• BS and 2+ years of experience, or MS and 0 years of experience for Level 2.
• BS and 5+ years of experience, or MS and 3+ years of experience for Level 3.
• Ability to obtain a Government DoD Secret security clearance.
• Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Source and Material Shortages (DMSMS) reporting.
• Experience using Silicon Expert, IHS (former of Accuris), and GIDEP tools.
• Experience calculating MTBF (Mean time between failure).

Nice To Haves

• Current/Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Basis of estimate generation experience.
• Self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with some direction.
• Innovative thinker with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
• Experience with selecting parts to meet reliability, corrosion, metal whisker, and safety-related requirements.
• Familiarity with NAS411 Hazardous Materials Target List Standard Practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate engineering design concepts in Digital, Analog and Harness designs.
• Report on Diminishing Manufacturing Source and Material Shortages (DMSMS).
• Use Silicon Expert, IHS (former of Accuris), and GIDEP tools.
• Calculate MTBF (Mean time between failure).
• Communicate findings to customers and management.
