About The Position

This role supports patients in a professional office setting as they arrive for appointments to be fitted for CPAP and other DME equipment. The DME Patient Registration Coordinator serves as a key point of contact, ensuring accurate intake, insurance verification, and documentation to support timely and compliant patient care.

Requirements

Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or patient‑facing environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology and understand how data flows between systems
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans
Familiarity with healthcare documentation and insurance verification processes
Previous experience in patient registration, intake, or healthcare office settings

Responsibilities

Greet and register patients in an office setting, ensuring a positive and professional experience
Support process improvement initiatives to help enhance workflows related to intake, verification, and data accuracy
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the company’s DME products and services
Review clinical documentation and payer guidelines to determine patient qualification and compliance for equipment and services
Assist with end‑to‑end intake and revenue cycle workflows, including:
Reviewing required documentation for completeness and accuracy
Processing, verifying, and submitting documentation as needed
Completing insurance verification to confirm eligibility, coverage, co‑insurance, and deductibles
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure documentation and patient information is accurate and up to date
