About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Full-Time Delivery Driver Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the timely delivery, setup, and retrieval of home medical equipment and supplies, as well as providing patients with proper instruction on usage. The ideal candidate takes pride in excellent customer service, vehicle upkeep, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a driver/delivery capacity
  • Be able to follow directions, read a roadmap/GPS, and schedule home/facility deliveries.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or operate a vehicle for long periods
  • Comfortable driving in all weather conditions, day or night
  • Capable of safely lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a current, valid Driver’s License and provide evidence of a good driving record
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive and maintain company vehicles in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Perform routine vehicle upkeep, including oil changes, tire maintenance, interior/exterior cleaning, and fuel monitoring; report any issues promptly to the supervisor.
  • Load, stage, and secure delivery vehicles with required equipment and supplies.
  • Efficiently prioritize and coordinate deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
  • Ensure timely delivery and setup of home medical equipment and related supplies.
  • Confirm that all equipment and supplies are clean and in proper working condition before delivery.
  • Provide patients with both verbal and written instructions on the safe and appropriate use of delivered equipment, including safety and infection control practices..
  • Arrange for the retrieval of discontinued equipment and prepare it for reentry into active inventory per cleaning and maintenance protocols.
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and safe equipment storage, cleaning, and repair areas—including delivery vehicles.
  • Assist with warehouse duties such as stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on select equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and training.
  • Participate in on-call or rotating call schedule as assigned.
