About The Position

This position is responsible for handling all drain belt operations. Ensuring forms are clean, filled appropriately and accurate documentation. Orchestrating the flow of the fill area such as equipment set up, staging, and following the production schedule. This position requires leadership skills with strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping, and personal conduct rules.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong listening skills and communication skills
  • Takes initiative to complete tasks along with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Works as a team with positive attitude and behaviors
  • Verbal and written communication skills; including ability to read, understand and follow written procedures (SOPs)
  • Flexibility in job roles, assisting team mates along with covering breaks when needed to meet business needs
  • Meet physical demands of role, Honest and high level of Integrity, high degree of personal hygiene per GMPs, dependable attendance to meet business demands
  • 18+ years old
  • Able to push, pull and lift at minimum 50lbs.
  • On your feet for minimum 11hrs
  • Working in temperature fluctuations; hot to cold environments
  • Fast-paced and organized environment
  • Must be able to reach over your head.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts
  • Monitor and operate curd cooling temperatures and fill rates
  • Understand HMI systems to control grinders, conveyors, augers and presses
  • Cleaning cycles on tools and equipment while monitoring COP tank temperatures and concentrations
  • Use portable foamers, chemical concentrations and proper cleaning methods
  • Follow SOP/SSOP’s for designated areas
  • Sanitize equipment, tools, presses and forms during production hours
  • Follow appropriate chemical usages for designated cleaning equipment
  • Conduct proper documentation of vats, pallets and temperatures during filling process
  • Collect samples for quality purposes during key points of the process
  • Maintain Master Sanitation Schedules and document
  • Communicate safety and or quality concerns to management and appropriate staff
  • Follow proper GMP, Safety and PPE protocols and procedures
  • Assist in other areas when needed
  • Perform other tasks that as assigned
