Lead Technical Network Architect – Defense Sector (Reston, VA) The Defense Sector at Leidos is seeking an accomplished Lead Technical Network Architect to join our team in Reston, VA . This is an exceptional opportunity to apply deep technical expertise and provide strategic leadership on a $900M complex program supporting a broad range of DoD customers. In this role, the Lead Technical Network Architect will serve as the technical subject matter expert and primary advisor to NSIN Government leadership, guiding the delivery of services, integration of capabilities, and technical development across the program’s full scope. The position includes occasional travel , which may involve international locations . Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or IT‑related field
  • Ten years of overall experience, including recent (within the last five years) delivery of capabilities and integration services within the DoD or IC environment
  • At least one cloud security certification
  • 8570.01 IASAE Level III certification
  • Active TS clearance with SCI access based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more cloud security and/or cloud‑related technology certifications
  • Experience with CMMC, risk mitigation, Zero Trust Architecture, and DEVSECOPS methodologies (Agile, Platform One)
  • Experience supporting a Combatant Command (CCMD) in a deployed environment
