Join us and help the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world.Location - Charlotte NCJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) Engineer to design and implement core components of our Tokenized Deposits Platform. This role focuses on regulated, financial‑grade distributed ledger applications—covering token issuance, transfer, redemption, interoperability, and integration with traditional banking systems.You will play a critical role in building next‑generation digital money infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years hands‑on with blockchain/DLT.
  • Experience with enterprise DLT platforms such as: Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda, Quorum, Besu, or private Ethereum.
  • Strong backend development skills in Java, Go, Kotlin, or Node.js.
  • Solid understanding of: Token models (fungible, non‑fungible) UTXO vs. account models Mint/burn flows.
  • Knowledge of banking and payment systems (ACH, RTP, SWIFT, ISO 20022).
  • Experience building secure microservices and APIs.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and cloud deployment models.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement DLT‑based components for tokenized deposit issuance, mint/burn, transfer, and settlement.
  • Develop smart contracts or chaincode governing deposit tokens.
  • Integrate the DLT ledger with existing banking systems including core banking, KYC, AML, and payment rails.
  • Build REST APIs and microservices to support tokenization flows.
  • Ensure adherence to financial‑grade controls such as identity management, privacy, auditability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with payments engineers, solution architects, security teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot distributed ledger issues, optimize performance, and support production‑grade networks.
  • Contribute to interoperability initiatives involving CBDCs, stablecoins, and interbank tokenization systems.
