About The Position

The Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. The position requires employees to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Essential functions include showing up for work on time and prepared for each scheduled workday, performing all assigned tasks and processes, and maintaining a positive and supportive attitude while collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

• Show up for work on time and prepared for each scheduled workday.
• Perform all tasks and processes assigned, including those you are fully qualified for and those you may be over-qualified for.
• Maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each scheduled workday.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teammates on a daily basis.
• Collect blood and urine specimens from an oncology patient population using various techniques and devices.
• Pull patient orders from EPIC and accession patient information and tests into the Cerner system.
• Process all types of specimens collected.
• Communicate effectively and politely with internal and external customers.
