About The Position

The Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated individual to perform essential functions of employment, including showing up for work on time and prepared for each scheduled workday. The role involves performing all tasks and processes assigned, maintaining a positive and supportive attitude, and collaborating with fellow teammates. The primary duty is to perform basic route services, which includes picking up specimens, verifying test requisitions, and delivering specimens to designated laboratory sites while ensuring proper handling and transportation methods.

Responsibilities

• Show up for work on time and prepared for each scheduled workday.
• Perform all tasks and processes assigned, including those you are qualified to perform.
• Maintain a positive and supportive attitude and work collaboratively with teammates.
• Perform basic route services as required.
• Pick up specimens and verify that test requisitions are filled out correctly.
• Deliver specimens to designated laboratory/distribution sites using appropriate handling methods.
• Establish and maintain positive client relations.
• Complete and submit all administrative forms such as daily route logs and supply requisitions.
• Help with the packing of specimens for transport to the Core Laboratory.
• Maintain compliance with safe driving regulations and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and safety.
