About The Position
Augusta University is Georgia's innovation center for education and health care, training the next generation of innovators, leaders, and healthcare providers. Established in 2017, the Department of Juvenile Justice Health Services was established through a unique collaboration between Augusta University Health System and the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice with the goal of delivering high-quality health services to the state of Georgia's justice-involved youth in 25 facilities. Our mission in the Department of Juvenile Justice Health Services is to transform young lives by providing evidence-based rehabilitative treatment services and supervision, strengthening the well-being of youth and families, and fostering safe communities. Each youth will receive appropriate, individualized care to improve their health knowledge and their potential for wellness.
