Augusta University is Georgia's innovation center for education and health care, training the next generation of innovators, leaders, and healthcare providers. Established in 2017, the Department of Juvenile Justice Health Services was established through a unique collaboration between Augusta University Health System and the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice with the goal of delivering high-quality health services to the state of Georgia's justice-involved youth in 25 facilities. This position is part of the facility clinical team, educated and trained to perform both administrative and clinical skills in the medical care environment. Provides support to the physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant or other providers as needed. Evaluates and prepares patients to be seen by providers.
