Requirements

Previous experience as a Disc Jockey or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with DJ software and equipment is essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to read the crowd are crucial for success in this role.

Nice To Haves

A background in music production or sound engineering is a plus.
A degree from a university in Music, Entertainment Management, or a related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Curate and mix music playlists tailored to different events, ensuring a seamless flow of tracks that keep the audience engaged.
Set up and operate sound equipment, including speakers, mixers, and microphones, prior to events.
Interact with guests to create a lively atmosphere, making announcements and taking song requests as needed.
Collaborate with event coordinators to understand the theme and requirements of each event.
Maintain an extensive library of music across various genres to cater to diverse audiences.
Stay current with music trends and new releases to keep playlists fresh and relevant.
Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during performances.
