About The Position

The Exceptional Student Education Services Coach position is designed to support and enhance the educational experience of students with exceptional needs. This role involves working closely with educators and administrators to implement effective strategies and programs that cater to the diverse learning requirements of these students. The coach will provide guidance, training, and resources to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Certification in Exceptional Student Education.
• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience in coaching or mentoring teachers.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in special education.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with exceptional needs.
• Provide professional development and training for staff on best practices in exceptional student education.
• Monitor and assess the progress of students and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding exceptional education policies and procedures.
• Facilitate communication between parents, teachers, and administration regarding student needs and progress.
