About The Position

Catalis Dental Lab Partners is a nationally connected network of premier dental laboratories providing high‑quality, digitally enabled restorative, implant, and prosthetic solutions to dental practices across the United States. The organization brings together leading regional labs with deep expertise in full‑arch restorations, restorative dentistry, and removable prosthetics—all supported by advanced digital workflows, 3D printing, AI‑driven design, and CAD/CAM technologies. Catalis serves both private practices and large dental service organizations (DSOs), combining local laboratory relationships with the resources and consistency of a national platform. The company operates a growing multi‑state footprint through its integrated lab network, including locations across Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Texas, and Utah. The Divisional Managing Director serves as the senior executive leader responsible for driving the strategic, commercial, and operational success of one of Catalis Dental Lab Partners’ branded divisions. This role holds full P&L accountability, overseeing revenue growth, customer expansion, margin performance, production excellence, quality standards, and operational efficiency. Acting as the chief executive of their division, the Divisional Managing Director shapes long‑term business strategy, steers day‑to‑day operations, and champions a high‑performance culture. This leader is entrusted with developing strong teams, elevating brand performance, and ensuring the division aligns with Catalis’ enterprise vision, financial objectives, and commitment to exceptional service. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in multi-site operations, manufacturing, dental, or healthcare services
  • Demonstrated success managing P&L $10M-$50M+, measurable EBITDA improvement
  • Proven ability to lead both commercial and operational teams
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to Arizona (Tempe or Tucson areas preferred)

Responsibilities

  • P&L Leadership Own full divisional profit and loss performance, including revenue growth, cost control, and margin optimization. Develop annual operating and financial plans aligned with enterprise‑level objectives. Monitor division performance through key KPIs such as COGS, OPEX, productivity, turnaround time, EBITDA margin, and cash flow. Lead quarterly business reviews and collaborate with Finance on forecasting, performance analysis, and improvement initiatives.
  • Commercial Growth & Customer Strategy Direct all commercial activities, including sales, marketing, and customer relationship management. Oversee account management for DSOs, private practices, and regional group customers. Partner with the Director of Sales Operations to design and execute growth campaigns aligned with brand strategy. Ensure consistent brand positioning, pricing discipline, and market differentiation. Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, identifying opportunities for expansion and deeper engagement.
  • Operational Excellence Lead daily operations across production, logistics, and quality functions to ensure reliable delivery and performance. Drive adherence to Lean principles, standardized work, and safety protocols. Maintain high standards for product quality, turnaround times, and delivery performance in alignment with Catalis benchmarks. Champion continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing COGS, strengthening efficiency, and improving workflow. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Digital Manufacturing teams to standardize processes and implement advanced technologies.
  • Leadership & Organizational Development Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing cross‑functional leadership team across Operations, Design, Sales, Customer Service, and Administration. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence that reflects Catalis’ core values. Clarify roles, responsibilities, performance metrics, and expectations for all direct reports. Drive talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives. Partner with HR on recruiting, performance management, and organizational culture alignment.
  • Strategic Alignment & Collaboration Serve as the primary liaison between the division and the CEO’s office. Collaborate with peer Division GMs and the Chief of Staff to share best practices and strengthen enterprise‑wide performance. Contribute to Catalis’ broader strategic roadmap, including integration initiatives, digital transformation, and growth programs. Participate in enterprise planning sessions, leadership summits, and cross‑divisional initiatives to promote alignment and operational consistency.
