The Divisional Director of Social Services provides an extensive analysis of divisional mission impact measurements and determines what factors will contribute to or impede the ability to obtain those goals. Plans, monitors, resources, and evaluates the administration and operation of all social services programs in the Kentucky/Tennessee Division; ensures that daily operations and services are in compliance with Salvation Army policies, procedures, and values as well as local, state, and federal regulations; develops and facilitates the implementation of program improvements in order to maximize service benefits to clients and the community. Oversees and monitors the preparation, review, processing, and administration of all required social service documents as well as contractual documents and public and private grant funding applications; research funding opportunities and writes grant proposals independently and in conjunction with divisional resource development staff. Serves as a technical expert for the Divisional Secretary of Personnel/Social Services (DSP/SS) and provides professional assistance in making social service program administration decisions. Coordinates and provides executive leadership to all divisional social services programs and government grants. Develops, implements, and evaluates program operations and services; ensures work is in compliance with established procedures and policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
