About The Position

Strategically plans, directs, supervises and evaluates all direct mail services, E-Fundraising, E-Marketing and telemarketing programs in the Division; ensures the creativity, freshness and accuracy of the Divisional and Corps (as assigned) websites; pursues and monitors outsourcing partnerships for site hosting and security; ensures day-to-day operations and donor relations are in compliance with Salvation Army policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations; coordinates with direct marketing vendors as well as officers, staff and Advisory Board members throughout the state in order to analyze/evaluate and improve existing direct marketing programs and data base management systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field,
  • Three to five years progressively responsible experience in direct and e-marketing segmentation and CRM databases to deliver data driven results, analysis, and application of findings,
  • Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.
  • Ability to accurately read, write and express the English language to include proper grammar, usage and punctuation.
  • Ability to perform complex mathematical computations.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail with constant breaks in concentration associated with answering phones or speaking in person to clients requiring assistance.
  • Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines.
  • Ability to perform all duties with an understanding of the mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, and protocol of The Salvation Army and conducts all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism.
