Requirements
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN license to practice as a Chief Nursing Office in the state of operation.
- 3-5 years of previous experience within the long-term care industry, preferred
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing & medical practices & procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to react quickly and calmly in emergencies, and he/she must have working knowledge of government regulations impacting the skilled nursing industry
