About The Position

ROLE OBJECTIVES Drive profitable sales growth by executing division sales strategies across brands, channels, and markets. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and collective performance goals. Strengthen supplier and customer partnerships to expand market presence and support long-term growth. Ensure financial discipline through effective management of pricing, margins, budgets, and forecasts. Execute brand, channel, and new product strategies aligned with market opportunities and customer needs. Promote operational excellence through efficient sales processes, data-driven decision-making, and effective field execution. Foster clear communication and cross-functional collaboration across sales leadership, suppliers, and internal partners. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations while modeling ethical leadership. Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development to enhance sales effectiveness and business results. BUSINESS OPERATIONS - Through cooperation and commitment to excellence, our processes are efficient and effective. Evaluate the profitability of the company’s supplier portfolios, key brands, as well as each marketing plan to ensure proper sales margins, projections on key brands and budgets are maintained. Create monthly sales tools to use in the field and aid in selling key programs. Conduct surveys with our suppliers as needed. Adhere to federal, state and company regulations that govern our industry. Travel to other locations as needed. Additional duties as needed by the organization. INNOVATION - Innovation is a way of thinking, challenging the status quo and continually improving. Prioritize, plan and implement programs by distribution channel of new product introductions. Identify opportunities by understanding the market and the customer within the market. Pursue continuous education in internal Badger University courses. PEOPLE - We optimize talent to achieve results. Lead, train, motivate and effectively interact with territory managers to aid in the development of sales territories. Review monthly sales performance tracker with team. Communicate with team on a regular basis to go over preplans or roadmaps. Collaborate with all levels of sales management across the organization. Provide strategic guidance, professional development and performance of direct reports. Partner with human resources to resolve employee relation issues. Communicate inventory needs and other similar issues to brand directors. Conduct bi-monthly sales meetings, kick off meetings and mid-month meetings with management and sales teams. Maintain relationships with key customer accounts. Create and maintain a professional work environment with the company’s suppliers, sales representatives, and customers. Communicate and execute all sales plans to the appropriate territory managers.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant industry experience required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of people management experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license, required insurance, and a satisfactory driving record required.
  • Ability and willingness to adjust work hours as needed to support all areas of the business.
