Job Purpose The Division President is a senior executive overseeing the entire title and escrow operations within a specific geographic division of a company, responsible for managing all aspects of the business including sales, customer service, compliance, and financial performance, while ensuring smooth execution of title searches, insurance issuance, and escrow transactions within their designated area.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the title and escrow industry, including knowledge of title insurance underwriting, closing procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing successful teams and achieving operational goals.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen to effectively monitor performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of local real estate market dynamics and legal requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent
  • 10-15 years of related experience in industry

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the profitable growth of operation
  • Recruits and selects competent department managers and monitors continued growth and progress.
  • Functions as chief liaison with outside service providers as well as other member of the local title industry
  • Prepare annual projections and budget, estimates and monitors subsequent compliance.
  • Create marketing strategies aimed at broadening company’s penetration into the local markets of escrow, title and other related product lines.
  • Maintains open line of communication between the local operation and the corporate office staff.
  • Works with and oversees the managers who supervise the departments of Escrow, Sales, Title, Payoff & Customer Service.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these departments.
  • Carries out the supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Including but not limited to interviewing, hiring and training associates; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
