About The Position

The Division Order Analyst is responsible for performing clerical, data entry, and research duties for the Land department related to the correct and prompt establishment of record title ownership. This position is responsible for the daily work and performance of all routine division order responsibilities. This analyst position will address and seek resolution of division order related issues of increasing complexity.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask while being able to prioritize and meet monthly deadlines
• High attention to detail and ability to resolve ownership issues
• Minimum of 3 years of oil and gas experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains divisions of interest for revenue distribution and joint interest billing
• Initiates pay code changes and ownership transfers of intermediate complexity
• Assist Division Order Manager with workflow and special projects
• Research and respond to phone calls, emails and written inquiries from interest owners in a timely manner
• Work closely with various disciplines within the company
• Understand the escheat statutes for the states in which Riley operates
• Other duties as requested or required
