We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. Rogers Group is seeking a Division Mine Planning Engineer to join our Eastern Division Operations based out of Oak Ridge, TN. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating, designing, and communicating short and long-term mine plans that improve our quarrying operations. The ideal candidate will be strong in AutoCAD/ Carlson software and will be responsible for 15 quarry operations across Eastern Middle and Eastern TN. The Mine Planning Geologist will report to the Eastern TN Production Manager and will take on additional responsibilities such as geological interpretation, mine modeling, and short-term mine planning. This position will work closely and communicate frequently with Rogers Group's corporate mine planning department.
