About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Division Manager – BMS/EPMS Construction to lead and scale our Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) construction operations supporting mission‑critical data center projects. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent data center builds, driving operational excellence, and scaling teams and processes to support rapid growth across hyperscale and colocation environments. The Division Manager partners closely with clients, project teams, and executive leadership to ensure predictable delivery on fast‑track construction schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of construction leadership experience in data center or mission‑critical environments.
  • Proven experience supporting hyperscale or colocation data center builds.
  • Track record managing large‑scale, multi‑million‑dollar project portfolios.
  • Experience scaling teams and operations in high‑growth environments.
  • Deep understanding of the data center construction lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of commissioning processes and phased turnover strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen, including cost forecasting and labor planning.
  • Ability to lead in fast‑paced, schedule‑driven environments.
  • Strong executive communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the BMS/EPMS construction division supporting large‑scale data center programs.
  • Develop scalable delivery models for multi-site and multi-phase construction projects.
  • Establish standardized processes for scheduling, reporting, procurement, and manpower planning.
  • Help Recruit, develop, and lead Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and subcontractor partners.
  • Implement performance metrics and dashboards to track execution, productivity, and results.
  • Oversee multiple mission‑critical data center construction projects simultaneously.
  • Drive alignment with aggressive, fast-track schedules and phased turnover milestones.
  • Coordinate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and electrical and mechanical trade partners.
  • Monitor labor utilization, productivity, safety, and field execution.
  • Proactively mitigate risks related to schedule compression, logistics, and supply chain challenges.
  • Ensure seamless transitions from construction through commissioning and operational readiness.
  • Own division‑level P&L performance.
  • Forecast revenue, margins, labor utilization, and backlog health.
  • Review and approve major contracts and subcontract agreements.
  • Lead change order strategy, pricing, and negotiations.
  • Optimize cost control while maintaining safety, quality, and delivery standards.
  • Serve as senior point of contact for hyperscale and colocation data center clients.
  • Participate in executive‑level progress meetings and performance reviews.
  • Build long‑term client partnerships across multi-campus programs.
  • Support business development and preconstruction efforts.
  • Ensure consistent, high‑quality BMS/EPMS installation standards across all job sites.
  • Champion a safety‑first culture and enforce compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Standardize site supervision, reporting, QA/QC, and turnover documentation.
  • Ensure proper integration with electrical distribution systems, mechanical infrastructure, and facility controls.
  • Mentor and develop high‑performing project and field leadership teams.
  • Build succession plans and strengthen leadership bench depth.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and ownership.
  • Align teams around predictable delivery and client satisfaction.
