About The Position

Primo Brands is a leading branded beverage company in North America with a focus on healthy hydration. The Fleet Division Manager ensures that the Company’s vehicle maintenance programs are executed in an efficient, safe and economical manner by providing leadership, and coordinating and directing employee activities engaged in servicing and repairing equipment and vehicles assigned to the Company. This role will deliver all financial commitments, build organization capabilities by utilizing performance management, instill a safety culture, integrate Continuous Improvement (CI) processes and principles, and develop solutions to meet customer expectations. Operational, tactical and strategic Role – The DFM is responsible for all things fleet within their assigned territory. This includes, and not limited to: Route and general delivery vehicles Material handling equipment Tractors, trailers & tankers Fuel strategies and infrastructures Fleet shops, technicians, repair vendors

Requirements

  • Any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the completion of an associate’s degree or 60 semester units or equivalent in automotive technology. (Preferred)
  • This person will need to be available to travel 40-60% of the time.
  • 5+ years of increasingly responsible experience in fleet maintenance of over-the-road and transport equipment; with at least 3 years’ experience in the supervision and management of fleet operations.
  • Must possess excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the following: principles, methods and practices pertaining to the supervision of fleet maintenance and repair operations; implementation of fleet operational goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, EPA), as well as federal, state and local laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
  • Travel requirement: up to 40%-60% (to observe and audit vehicle performance and maintenance in remote locations).
  • Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. Proficiency in English is essential for understanding customer needs, resolving inquiries, and collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Directs compliance with or assists in the establishment of programs, policies, and procedures to attract, develop, and retain a competent and motivated workforce, including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, and counseling.
  • Plans, directs, and monitors preventive maintenance and repair programs for all Company vehicles.
  • Has management responsibility involving staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates.
  • Daily productivity tracking and coaching
  • Coordinate training for Diagnostic platforms, fleet database, specialty activities
  • Lead safety training and activities
  • Manage payroll
  • Participating in the Division Operations Team with cross functional partners to achieve financial and business goals
  • Influences good fleet practices to all Operational employees within the Region
  • Participating in the National Fleet Team with DFM’s from around the country
  • Ensure consistent processes Nationally
  • Improve processes to build efficiencies and safe work practices
  • P&L Adherence to budgets
  • Review and explain P&L variances monthly
  • Drive execution of National purchasing programs
  • Ensure execution of the Tire process
  • Minimize / right size parts inventories
  • Minimizing 3rd Party Repairs for all vehicle types
  • Eliminating Short Term Rentals
  • National & local vendor execution in the field
  • Supports and contributes to the development and success of warranty and policy programs for recovery of expenses.
  • Ensures compliance with all Primo Brands policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
