About The Position

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day administrative operations for the Division of Finance and Operations. You’ll play a key part in shaping and managing the division’s budgetary, fiscal, and administrative processes. Your responsibilities will include: Managing essential functions such as accounting, payroll, personnel records, procurement, and other financial matters. Providing in-depth financial analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making. Collaborating with departmental directors and staff to plan, develop, and manage budgets and funding resources. Driving efficiency and accuracy in all administrative and fiscal operations. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Experience in budget management and financial oversight of programs, including developing and managing budget, and performing cost analysis.
  • Experience in processing various activities such as purchasing, travel, personnel.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated skill in organization and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Demonstrated high productivity and experience meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues and internal and external constituent.
  • Experience using Workday or another ERP software solution.

  • Broad working knowledge of policies and procedures in a complex academic institution or similar complex organization.
  • Experience presenting complex financial information in a clear, concise and effective manner.
