About The Position

OPM's Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHO) is recruiting for the Division Director of our Workforce Relations Team. The incumbent will serve as program manager over OPM's internal employee relations, labor relations, performance management, and awards programs.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation.
  • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal Service.

Responsibilities

  • Advises agency managers on significantly complex and/or precedent setting employee and labor relations matters.
  • Provides expert analysis and interpretation of OPM internal policy and guidelines for employees, union officials, other human resources specialists, supervisors, and managers.
  • Oversees administration of the employee performance management and awards programs.
  • Performs a full range of supervisory duties including planning, scheduling, and directing the work.
