About The Position

Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida, located in Orlando, is seeking a Division Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology & Audiology ENT to lead and advance our expanding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a division at the forefront of pediatric ENT care. The Division Chief will lead a dedicated team of five pediatric otolaryngologists, a part-time neurologist, one nurse practitioner, three physician assistants, and nine audiologists. Our thriving cochlear implant program is supported by four speech-language pathologists and three specialized audiologists, including a Cochlear Program Director. Additionally, we are actively recruiting a neuropsychologist to further enhance our services.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
• Experience in leading a clinical team in a pediatric setting.
• Strong background in cochlear implant programs and pediatric audiology.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with research in pediatric otolaryngology.
• Familiarity with advanced aerodigestive programs.
• Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology & Audiology.
• Oversee a team of pediatric otolaryngologists, neurologist, nurse practitioner, physician assistants, and audiologists.
• Manage the cochlear implant program and collaborate with speech-language pathologists.
• Enhance services by recruiting additional specialists such as a neuropsychologist.
• Shape and develop pediatric ENT care programs.
