Basic Job Functions:As a member of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the General Manager, the Division CFO is an integral part of developing and executing on the division’s business strategy. The Division CFO is responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring strong governance and controls, and leadership of Accounting, Human Resources, Purchasing, Warehouse and Logistics functions to support the business.

Requirements

Advanced degree in an applicable field, CPA, CMA or MBA
At least 3 years of work experience in financial related leadership positions
candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Responsibilities

Own the division’s overall financial strategy, to include forecasting, working capital management, and capital allocation.
Oversee all financial reporting functions, including accounting close, internal controls, and GAAP and Corporate policy compliance.
Understand, monitor, and effectively communicate KPI’s throughout the business to create actionable business insights that drive outcomes.
Develop and implement processes and workflows to maximize resources using technology and systems.
Provide legal oversight and support through use of internal and third-party legal resources for commercial activities, purchasing contracts, and all other legal activities within the business.
Provide oversight for shared service IT functions to ensure division security, teammate support, and technology advancement to support division strategies.
Lead division talent strategy, including talent acquisition and teammate growth and development.
Ensure consistent application and administration of HR policies.
Lead, nurture and advance the Nucor culture.
Coach and develop other leaders and high performing teammates.
Actively participate and drive the division’s safety efforts
Actively participate in the development and execution of the overall business strategy to support long-term profitable growth.
Build strong cross-functional partnerships to lead across the business.
