About The Position
This position will serve as the Division Bridge Maintenance Engineer for Division 9 which includes Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Rowan and Stokes Counties. The duties for this position include planning, assigning, directing and coordinating a number of physically dispersed bridge crews in maintenance, repair and replacement of bridges, drainage pipes exceeding forty-eight inches in diameter and box culverts. This position also manages and supervises all bridge maintenance and force account construction for the five Division 9 counties in accordance with established policies and procedures. Knowledge of the principles of civil engineering and highway methods and techniques is required.
