About the position
The position is for a Diving Coach at Plainfield Community Middle School for the 2025-2026 Winter Season. The coach will be responsible for training and developing student-athletes in diving techniques and skills. This role requires a commitment to fostering a positive and competitive environment for the athletes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement diving training programs.
- Provide instruction and feedback to student-athletes.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and competitions.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration.
- Attend all practices and competitions as scheduled.
Requirements
- Previous coaching experience in diving or a related sport.
- Strong knowledge of diving techniques and safety protocols.
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Experience working with middle school-aged students.
