The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Manager at White Plains Hospital is responsible for the development, administration, and execution of DEI initiatives aimed at fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for employees, patients, and community partners. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including HR leadership, marketing teams, and Employee Resource Groups, to ensure that DEI programming aligns with organizational goals and community needs.

  • Manage all diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization in partnership with the Chief DEI Officer.
  • Create, administer, organize, and successfully execute DEI projects and deliverables.
  • Serve as a project manager for DEI action committees, ensuring all projects meet deadlines.
  • Compile and report statistics, metrics, and data to assess and communicate the progress of diversity initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Chief DEI Officer to design and implement new initiatives that enhance diversity awareness.
  • Administer and coordinate various internal and external DEI programs, events, and initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of impactful events and programs.
  • Manage the DEI internal/external website, curating content aligned with organizational practices.
  • Create and implement DEI communications and campaigns, including cultural education and celebrations.
  • Work on special projects focused on employee retention, engagement, health equity, and DEI regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in DEI program management or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of DEI principles, practices, and legal requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in community engagement and public speaking.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence and engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
