As the Diversion Program Manager, you’ll supervise a group of diversion and CIT diversion peer recovery specialists while actively working alongside them. You’ll be responsible for empowering, supporting and engaging the team to provide supports and services to proactively engage people at risk of hospitalization for mental health disability related issues. Independent Living, Inc., is a progressive and dynamic cross-disability services organization and a leader in the provision of peer services in the Hudson Valley region. The Diversion Program Manager position prefers to hire someone that has a BS in Human Services, or related chemical dependency field, or equivalent experience and must be a peer and have personal lived experience as a former or current user of mental health services and be comfortable with self-disclosure as needed.
