About The Position
The Rockport Public Schools is seeking a highly-skilled, dynamic District-Wide Special Education Facilitator. The Special Education Facilitator works collaboratively with the Director of Student Services and the School Principal to coordinate and facilitate mandated special education laws and procedures including chairing initial and three year team meetings. They foster collaboration between caregivers, students, and staff regarding student assessment and programming, and improve understanding of inclusive education and student needs within the school community. The Special Education Facilitator implements policies and practices as developed and agreed upon by the School Committee and/or the District Leadership Team. They provide leadership to the school community consistent with the District's mission, vision, and core values.
