About the position

Hayward Holdings Inc. Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. The person in this role will cover Eastern North Carolina. The ideal candidate should reside in Raleigh, NC area. The District Technical Service Manager (DTM) provides field-based technical support for Hayward pool products and dealers. Collaborating with District Sales Managers (DSMs), the DTM develops and implements tailored local strategies, manages a network of service providers, and delivers exceptional customer and product support to drive market success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with DSMs to create and execute market-specific plans to enhance sales, customer satisfaction, and service offerings.
  • Recruit, train, and maintain a network of service providers to ensure expert repairs and coverage for Hayward products.
  • Strengthen dealer relationships through proactive site visits, technical training, and problem resolution.
  • Conduct targeted training sessions and provide feedback to enhance product reliability, performance, and innovation.
  • Regularly assess market strategies with DSMs, identify gaps, and adjust plans to achieve goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; 4-year degree or pool industry experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of technical experience in the pool industry, ideally in a field-management role.
  • Expertise in swimming pool products, repairs, and applications.
  • Proficiency in business tools and reporting systems.
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, collaboration, and project management.
