They serve as an additional resource and mentor the Office Managers within the district. This position is designed to help lay the foundation for future leadership opportunities within EyeCare Partners. In this active and rewarding dual role, while serving as an Office Manager for their respective office, the District Team Lead will also be responsible for assisting the District Manager with the overall management operations of the district while learning about the key aspects of the business and how to build patient loyalty through exceptional service. Key responsibilities include continued management of their respective office while providing mentorship to Office Managers, supporting the daily operation of the offices, assisting with interviewing and staffing needs, and working on projects as assigned. The District Team Lead will be entrusted to be the face of the district while being given the opportunity to develop their leadership and operational expertise in preparation for future responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • You must have been in an Office Manager role for at least 1 year to be eligible for this position
  • Favorable result on background check as required by state
  • Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Management preferred
  • Previous optical management experience preferred
  • Industry related experience will be beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Office Manager for an assigned office within the district and execute day-to-day operations of the office by ensuring that all management duties are completed including: Employee scheduling, weekly meetings, report generation, inventory assessment, supply ordering, employee training and other duties as assigned or needed within the office
  • Serve as point of contact for Office Managers and their staff regarding basic questions pertaining to processes, superbill changes, etc.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Office Managers regarding patient flow opportunities for improvement, patient complaints, and areas that need improvement identified by doctors within the offices
  • Assist with the implementation of new/revised processes, procedures and technology enhancements within the district/company
  • Provide assistance with the daily staffing of offices within the district by collaborating with Office Managers to help fill schedule gaps accordingly
  • Analyze office financial data and make recommendations regarding steps which can be implemented on the retail side of the business to improve profitability and drive KPIs
  • Interview and hire office-level staff within the district and assist with new hire onboarding as needed
  • Interview, hire, and train Office Managers within the district
  • Assist District Manager with denovos, relos, acquisitions, mergers, and closings
  • Monitor and enforce Company cash handling policies and procedures to include petty cash as outlined by Accounting, and submit required financial documents accurately and on schedule
  • Execute day-to-day operations of the office by ensuring the following is completed: Team member scheduling, weekly meetings, report generation, inventory assessment, supply ordering, and team member training
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service
  • Performs other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization
