About The Position

Pasadena Unified School District serves the communities of Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre. Requirements

  • Equivalent to one (1) year of full-time experience in public or military law enforcement, plant security, etc.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Course work in police science through a Community College or a Military Technical School is desirable.
  • A current license issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (A Guard Card) is required.
  • A valid First Aid/CPR card is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with adolescent groups involving discipline, safety, and security.
  • The ability to speak, read, and write another language, such as Armenian and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in public or military law enforcement activities.
  • Ensure safety and security within the school environment.
  • Work with adolescent groups involving discipline and safety.
  • Establish adult authority with students.
