About The Position

The District Sales Supervisor is responsible for building brand loyalty and achieving sales objectives within a designated district while adhering to an established expense budget. This role involves representing the company to distributor partners and identifying emerging trends in competitive activity. The position supports customer stores in Quincy, Illinois, Hannibal, Missouri, and surrounding areas, directly working with three Independent Operators.

Requirements

  • 3 years of merchandising experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Capability to push and pull up to 100 lbs repeatedly.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain customer account contacts to increase product availability within assigned market.
  • Monitor business activities to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Develop action plans to ensure achievement of annual objectives.
  • Create customer programs designed to improve consumer visibility of branded products.
  • Identify key decision makers for account management and coordinate marketing programs, point of sale materials, and sales promotions.
  • Audit account sales records to verify coverage information and ensure key contacts are listed.
  • Adjust coverage responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives for targeted program initiatives.
  • Train, manage, and motivate the Sales and Merchandising team.
  • Manage and operate within established operating and marketing budgets by reporting and tracking all activity.
  • Foster a culture of trust and wellbeing that prioritizes the team and values employee contributions.
  • Drive a shared vision with clear goals and accountability, supported by regular conversations to maximize talent.
  • Embrace diverse perspectives to foster innovation and learn from successes and failures.
