About The Position

Eaton’s North American Sales Division is currently seeking a District Sales Representative to join their team. This role is based in Littleton, CO, and only candidates located in this area will be considered. This exciting opportunity provides ownership of a dynamic territory with complex distributor relationships, where you will execute a channel strategy, drive year-over-year growth, and support customer issue resolution. The role also includes responsibility for optimizing distributor inventory and training partners on tools such as Vista and Bidmanager. The primary function of Senior Distributor Sales Specialist is to manage and demonstrate strong knowledge of the assigned channel partners within the territory to increase sales in the local marketplace and provide sales and technical assistance. This position will be responsible for directly interfacing with distributors within their territory by providing a variety of sales support and administrative services in inventory management. In this function you will: •You will manage a territory that is very dynamic in terms of distributor complexity, volume of locations, and territory size •You will partner with regional channel director, sales engineers and sales manager/director on a territory channel strategy and plan each year; and effectively execute this plan against set targets •You will continuously support customer issue resolution •You will make recommendations to management and channel director to increase effectiveness of initiatives and programs •You will track and measure distributor growth using sales reporting tools and reviews stock levels with each channel partner on an on-going basis. •You will strategically evaluate and optimize inventory at assigned distributors to ensure adequate levels of standard control and DE products to maximize sales. Makes recommendations on product changes, layout changes, and stock levels to optimize Eaton's position. •You will independently develop and implements action plans targeted at YOY growth and agreed performance levels. •You will make recommendations to management and channel director regarding potential challenges or issues on a case-by-case basis, offering solutions and pro-actively scheduling joint sales calls. •You will train distributors on how to use internal programs such as Vista, Bidmanager, and the Commitments program

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years in of electrical sales and/or marketing experience
  • Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
  • No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Littleton, CO. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
