About The Position

The position involves maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to company and customer safety and quality standards, as well as legal regulations. The role requires spending over 80% of the time in front of clients to develop new opportunities and managing all customer activities in the company's CRM system. The individual will be responsible for selling value, understanding opportunity costs, and maximizing profitability of the company's service offerings. Additionally, the role includes delivering professional presentations of the company's value proposition, researching and developing new customer opportunities, and being accountable for assigned budget targets. Collaboration with various teams within the organization is essential to maximize revenue and profitability, including coordinating with operations on deal pipelines and pricing strategies. The individual will also be expected to maintain contact with existing clients and identify new service lines or products to enhance the company's competitive position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related industry preferred.
  • Four (4) to six (6) years' experience in a related role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products suite.
  • Ability to learn new software applications and computer programs.
  • Ability to become proficient with customer relationship management (CRM) software; Sales Force experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Spends 80%+ time in front of clients developing new opportunities.
  • Manages all activity and customer opportunities in the Company's CRM system.
  • Sells value and understands opportunity costs to maximize profitability of the company's service offerings.
  • Delivers presentations of the company's value proposition and service capabilities in a professional and technically articulate manner.
  • Researches and develops new customers and new customer opportunities.
  • Responsible and accountable for assigned monthly, quarterly and annual budget targets including revenue and profit dollars.
  • Collaborates with all parts of the Team organization to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Coordinates with the operations organization (the Branch) on deal pipeline to ensure operational readiness for new business opportunities.
  • Coordinates with operations (the Branch) to agree on the right pricing to maximize total profit dollars.
  • Brings in service line organizations as well as BDMs as needed, to close every opportunity at the right price and profit margin.
  • Maintains periodic contact with existing clients and is seen as a focal point of new accounts.
  • Identifies new service lines, products or capabilities that the company should offer to improve competitive position.
  • Responsible for understanding geographical, industry and competitive trends in assigned territory.
  • Participates in the strategic sales planning process and development of growth plans.
  • Works with Division Sales Manager and Corporate Marketing Function to identify key marketing opportunities.
  • Focuses on teamwork and passes on new customer/project opportunities to the appropriate person/party.
