About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time District Sales Manager to join our growing team! The District Sales Manager will be based in Houston, Texas, USA reporting to the Regional Sales Director and will work autonomously from their home-based office. Travel within Territory is required. District Sales Managers will be responsible for selling directly within their territory as well as supporting and overseeing the sales and activities of others as assigned to them (Areas Sales Managers and/or Territory Managers). District Sales Managers receive competitive compensation and benefit package including performance-based incentives. Successful candidate will have a proven track record in medical aesthetic sales with the ability to grow customer base in their respective territory.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in capital equipment sales, medical device preferred.
  • Experience in selling lasers, RF and or minimally invasive technologies to Dermatologists, Facial and Plastic Surgeons etc.
  • BA/BS University Degree or equivalent educational background in business or another relevant field.
  • Demonstrated/proven track record of meeting quota and driving sales growth.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems an asset (specifically Salesforce).
  • Team player who can work collaboratively with all internal departments and customers.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead people.
  • Self-motivated with a positive, proactive mindset.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Excellent communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • MS Office & general computer skills.
  • Must own vehicle and maintain a valid drivers’ license.
  • Travel primarily within territory. Some travel within North America. International travel as required.

  • The ability to travel overnight within the territory (minimum 2 nights per week dependent on territory) and outside of the territory for attendance at national trade shows, training, and other events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage territory, drive sales growth through existing and new customers; increase customer base and market share.
  • Adaptation/execution of Company’s sales strategy.
  • Develop pipeline, ensure pipeline progression and on-going activity; conduct cold calling and on-site visits.
  • Meet sales targets as set through annual/quarterly budgets and as communicated by your manager.
  • Perform customer analysis, understand the business needs and opportunities.
  • Educate customers on product line up in a professional manner; be knowledgeable on device indications, efficacy, safety, and how our products will fulfill customer needs; conduct product demonstrations while adhering to Company protocols.
  • Negotiate sales contracts, quotes, and terms per Company guidelines, escalating when necessary.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships; visit all accounts regularly and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate installation at the customer's site in accordance with the Company's methods, specifications, policies, and procedures.
  • Establish reference sites, provide sales support at meetings, workshops, and conventions as necessary.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Inside Sales and Clinical Training.
  • Maintain CRM data integrity by regular updates, compile reports and attend calls and meetings as required.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of the products and competitive landscape.
  • Assist in meeting the sales targets of the assigned resources.
  • Monitor the activities of the assigned resources to ensure alignment with the sales process and strategy.
  • Provide support with sales structure, price, and terms per company guideline.
  • Assist on closing sales; in-person and remotely.
  • Provide on-going coaching and development.
