Job Summary Responsible for leading, inspiring, and supporting all reps/products within a defined territory to achieve sales objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science preferred
  • 5-10 years selling capital equipment preferably in the laser industry or B to B sales.
  • Minimum 1-2 years managing sales professionals.
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage multiple sales reps.
  • Strong organizational skills and proven ability to complete assignments on time.
  • Strong, creative problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated sales accomplishments in a capital equipment environment.
  • Experience developing relationships with customers.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passionate, self-starter who drives high performance within organization and consistently deliver on commitments.
  • Thrives in a multi-tasking, fast-paced team environment.
  • Demonstrates strategic and competitive mindset in identifying, cultivating, and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate the ability to take a complicated process and simplify it to drive sales.
  • Must be able to influence and build effective relationships with team members in other functional areas.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Up to 50% travel

Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual and team territory sales objectives across all product lines.
  • Generate new revenue by identifying, engaging, and winning over prospective customers through strategic outbound sales efforts.
  • Take on a leadership role within the defined territory
  • Lead and assist with the closing of business opportunities.
  • Being a leader for your team – set the tone, fostering a unified supportive culture where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute.
  • Lead team members to drive territory performance and deliver on collective revenue goals.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching/mentoring to the team.
  • Manage day-to-day issues/questions amongst reps and customers.
  • Assist RBD with budgeting plans and logistics for events/programs.
  • Forecast sales on a monthly and quarterly basis for all product lines.
  • Assist RBD with the recruiting and hiring process for new prospective employees.
  • Identify and qualify prospective customers, provide technical information, demonstrate company products and quote prices to customers.
  • Own and deliver on territory revenue goals by driving strategic sales execution and leading all activities to achieve and exceed quota.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospective customers and competitive information.
  • Continuously build product mastery through internal and external training initiatives, coupled with in-depth competitive analysis to effectively position solutions in the market
  • Attend and lead company workshops and training events.
  • Includes company led training such as NSM, Internal Sales Meetings.
  • Attends regional sales events and demo days.
  • Embody and deliver the “Exceptional Everyday”.
