About The Position

The District Sales Manager plans, directs, and oversees the operations and fiscal health of a business unit, division, department, or operating unit within an organization. The District Sales Manager is responsible for managing and leading the work of a group of people. The District Sales Manager is also responsible for planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of its people and other resources within a business unit. The position of District Sales Manager is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall not be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked more than 40 in any one workweek.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales operations in the assigned district to achieve revenue goals.

  • Maintain clear and complete sales reports for management review.
  • Build strong relationships with customers for business growth.
  • Analyze sales performances and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure that the sales team always follows company policies and procedures.
  • Develop promotional programs to increase sales and revenue.
  • Plan and coordinate sales activities for assigned projects.
